When you sign up for EduTableKrez, your institution gets its own isolated workspace — a "tenant" — on our shared infrastructure. But how is this different from a shared spreadsheet? The answer is multi-tenancy.
What Is Multi-Tenancy?
In a multi-tenant architecture, a single application instance serves multiple customers ("tenants"), each with logically separated data. Think of it like an apartment building: many families share the same building, but each flat has its own lock and key.
Data Isolation
Every query EduTableKrez runs is scoped by a tenant_id column. A teacher from College A can never access the timetable of College B — even if both run on the same server. This is enforced at the database query level, not just the UI level.
Subscription-Based Tiers
Because all tenants share infrastructure, operational costs are spread across subscribers, making powerful software affordable even for small polytechnics. Your plan determines limits (departments, classes, teachers) while ensuring fair resource usage.
Why It Matters for You
You get enterprise-grade software at a fraction of the cost, with automatic updates, daily backups, and 99.9% uptime — without hiring a dedicated IT team.
